Cowpasture River

If you've never spent time at the Cowpasture River in Virginia you're missing out. I went this past weekend with Missy. We were invited by a couple of friends who have a cabin up there. It was amazing. The water was crystal clear, the air was smooth and clean. It smelled like spring again even though we're coming up on winter.

I can't wait to go back. Here are some pictures.

Yes...I fell off a canoe and lost my glasses in the water, but I found them.

Crazy Cooter

Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard came in to the station the other day to record a political commercial for someone. I should have paid more attention to what he was saying but I was too excited about seeing Cooter.

Wedding Pics

I haven't had a chance to put the pictures of my uncles wedding up yet...And since I am sitting at home sick with nothing to do today I figured I'd do it now. We had family from all over come in and it was a lot of fun...Which you can tell by the train winding through the reception hall.

Kanye West is an Ignorant F@#$!!!

Dear Kanye West,

In the middle of preaching about how long it's taken President Bush to get to New Orleans to help the people hit hard by Hurricane Katrina, You admitted that you have not yet given a penny of your own money to the effort. You are an ignorant hypocrite that has no right to criticize the way this disaster is being handled.

President Bush does not hate black people. He IS doing all he can right now. You are coming down on the president without doing a damn thing yourself. You didn't help raise money for hurricane relief one bit on Friday night because 90 percent of America turned away after you spoke.

You honestly believe that President Bush told the soldiers to go down to new Orleans and shoot black people? You honestly believe that America is set up to help poor and black people as slow as possible? This is a nation of love and compassion for all and if you don't see that every day, then your head is too far up your own ass to know the real America!

After 30 hours...

Danny, Zack and I stayed on the air for a grand total of 30 hours. We knew it would be a big event...but you all did much more than I could ever dream. The total between K92, Star Country, and Q99 was more than 511 thousand dollars.
