UPDATE ON BO BICE!!!

Not only was he charged with cocaine possession in 2001. He was arrested in 2003 for marijuana possession, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded guilty to the last two charges but got nothing from the pot charge.

Druggie Idol

It came out today that American Idol finalist Bo Bice was once arrested for felony cocaine possession. He got out of the charge by going through a "diversion program" for first time offenders. What the hell is going on with this years contestants?

Bo says on the Idol website that his most embarrassing moment was when he fell off stage during a show. I wonder why he fell.

Wet and Cold

My first visit to the lake was yesterday. I know it was a crappy day, but at least it wasn't raining. The Captain of The Barge Inn was nice enough to take me for a ride to pebble beach and the dam. Here are the pictures of the first trip of the year to the lake.

I Need Your Help

I've talked about it before here, but I'm saying it again because we're getting close to the deadline and I need some help. I'm doing the MDA Lock-Up again this year and there's a new feature. Now instead of me calling you and begging you for money, you can donate online by clicking here.

My goal this year is 2,500 dollars. There is no way I can reach that without the help of my friends.

The Muscular dystrophy Association raises money for kids like Mattie Stepanek, a young boy who worked hard to teach people about the disease even when he was forced into a wheelchair. Mattie touched more people in his life that I can ever dream of. He wrote poetry and educated large groups of people. He died at the age of thirteen almost a year ago.


There are more people than you would think, even in this area, that can benefit from the funds The MDA raises. The money will help families buy wheelchairs when they can't afford them, it will help kids with MD go to summer camp and meet people they can relate to, and most importantly it will help fund research so that one day we can stop all forms of MD in their tracks.

We've got a Pope!!!

There is a new Pope in town and I was the first to announce it. That's right. Look at the time. The white smoke started to come out at about 11:50AM EST. This post was placed at just after 11:30AM EST.

How in the world did you do it? you might ask. Well I'll tell you. It was a long and hard task that involved faking the time I actually printed this post.

Thank God we are Popeless no more.


Just a side note...why would you pick a Pope name that has been used 15 times? Granted...Pope Benedict has a ring to it...But it will always be followed with the number 16. That's no fun. I would be Pope Depopeman the first. How about you?

No Respect!

So my roommates decide to have people over to the house. Fine. It's their house too. They get drunk and talk...that's fine too. But why do I have to put up with the people they invite over knocking my door off of it's hinges and being in my bedroom when I'm away?


The problem is, there are two bathrooms in this house. One downstairs and one in my room. So when the bathroom downstairs is full, they move up to mine. That wouldn't bother me at all if my door, table, and other things weren't broken in the past.

I don't keep a really clean room, but, good god...can't people have any respect for my stuff? That's it! I'm moving into my girlfriend's place.

Mexico Has Herpes!

A Georgia woman says Michael Vick gave her herpes and he knew about it. She also says you can march right down to the clinic and get his records...But don't look for him under Michael Vick.



That's right, Ron Mexico.

What a great idea to go to The NFL Store Online and buy a customized number 7 jersey with Ron Mexico written across it. Think of how classic that would be!

But you can't because several million other people thought of it first and the NFL store blocked that combination. Anyone get one before it was taken down?

My girlfriend and I headed down to Martinsville Speedway with Dick and Dave from Q99 and a couple of their friends. It was the Advance Auto Parts 500 and god did we have some fun.

The Egg Mcmuffin Diet

So I'm trying to lose weight, but I don't want to do any work...or have to eat like a bunny to do it. So Danny, Zack and I were talking about all the crazy diets we've got floating around in the world like Atkins, and the South Beach Diet. Danny figured out that the Egg McMuffin only has 300 Calories.

THE EGG MCMUFFIN DIET IS BORN.


The plan is to eat only 4 Egg McMuffins per day, and nothing else and I will lose weight. One for Breakfast, one for lunch, and two for dinner. That's only 1,200 calories and the human body burns more than that per day...I think.

Anyone want to join the Egg McMuffin diet with me?

American Wife Beater

Tonight on AWB...A man who threw a phone at his girlfriend during a fight. Stay tuned for more men who can't handle their rage like normal people.

Why in the world did America allow Scott Savol, who beat his girlfriend and threw a phone at her, to stay in American Idol? You want kids to idolize someone who's been convicted of domestic abuse?


Last night was the vote off show of American Idol...and while Scott did make the bottom two...He stayed in the competition another week.

I want to hear from the people who actually voted for him, or those that didn't vote for him but think he should stay in the competition for whatever reason.

By the way...he beat her and threw a phone at her in front of his child. Now that's a good Dad.

My First Sun Burn

It's officially summer time in my neck of the woods.

I went out to eat today with Danny, Dave and Sonia. We went to the Brambleton Deli to have some beers. It was about 80 and we sat outside beneath the blooming trees. I now have a sun burn on 80 percent of my body. That doesn't mean the sun is strong enough to give a normal person a sun burn...It just means blonde haired, blue eyed people like me with fair skin are in trouble.

This is the last post you'll have by me about the summer until I head to Smith Mountain Lake for the first time. That will be a long one with descriptions and stories. Happy Summer.

The morning show with Danny and Zack and Smelly Kat will be on WDBJ7 and News Channel 10 this evening. Make plans to be near your TV.

I will actually be on Channel 7. Channel 10 came in later and did not get me on tape.

We had a woman come in to the show this morning and name her unborn daughter "K92" for Bristol Tickets.
